Beauty Along the Way began as a joyful act of creation, meandering through confusion and self-doubt before arriving at a place of hope and expectation. In that way, it became a metaphor for the creative process itself. As the painting evolved, elements were added, removed, and reimagined. What began as a minimal composition became a pivot point in my work. The dreamy, hazy passage in the upper right opened the door to a new direction and offered a glimpse of the emotional direction of my work going forward. The process itself became a personal journey—one filled with discovery, change, and finding beauty along the way.
