Alive Sky was created with a sense of openness and awe in mind—the feeling of moving out of an enclosed space and suddenly encountering an expansive view. The boundaries between land, water, and sky are intentionally ambiguous, allowing them to merge into one encompassing landscape. Beneath the surface, visible layers suggest rain, storms, and a changing atmosphere. The painting captures that hopeful moment when the weather begins to shift and the world seems to open up again.
